Leah Hutchens Mitchell of Yadkinville, received the Brian Rodgers Memorial Award on May 11 during Campbell University’s graduation ceremony.
The award recognizes a graduating pharmacy student who, in the spirit of Brian Rodgers, overcame significant adversity during their pharmacy school career. It is meant to honor the characteristics embodied by Brian and found to be present in the recipient – perseverance, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic.
Mitchell is a 2012 doctor of pharmacy graduate from Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
