Summer Reading Programs for all ages will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, featuring Dragon Magic with Greg Zelnik.
“Movie Mondays” will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. showing “Everyone’s Hero,” rated G and with a running time of 87 minutes. All programs are free of charge and run approximately 45-60 minutes in length. For questions or additional information, please stop by the Yadkin County Public Library.

The library has a Facebook page! Just log onto your Facebook and find the Yadkin County Public Library page. Click on “Like” in the upper right corner of the page and start receiving library posts about upcoming events, photos and updates right on your page. The library has started a monthly newsletter and would like email addresses of patrons who are interested in getting the latest library news. The Yadkin County Public Library is a member of the Northwestern Regional Library system, comprised of libraries in Alleghany, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin counties. The library’s normal operating hours are as follows: Mondays and Thursdays 8:30 am – 6:30 pm and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
