Mrs. Pat Messick Phillips of East Bend, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Phillips was born May 18, 1941, in Davie County to the late Glenn and Willie Mae Messick. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and attended Pilot View Friends Meeting.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.

Surviving are her husband, Junior Phillips; two sons, Jimmy Phillips and Tracy (Judi) Phillips; a daughter, Janet (Bob) Bain; four grandchildren, Trey Phillips, Devin Phillips, Mary Phillips and William Bain; three brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Pilot View Friends Meeting Cemetery by the Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pilot View Friends Meeting, 3225 Pilot View Church Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.

The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the Davie Team of Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
