Jennifer Nicole Davis and Travis William Dunn were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. The Rev. Mike Whitson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Judy Davis of Monroe. She is the granddaughter of Georgia Davis of Pageland, S.C., and the late Rev. John T. Davis, Jr., and Clara Mangum of Monroe and the late James W. (Bill) Mangum. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is employed by Union County Public Schools at Shiloh Elementary.
The groom is the son of Larry and Debbie Dunn of Yadkinville. He is the grandson of Lois Shore of Kernersville and the late J.H. Shore, and the late Dorothy and Rev. Gilmer Dunn. He received a bachelor’s degree in management from Clemson University and is employed by the McLane Company.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a timeless Adorea-Louise wedding gown by Maggie-Sottero. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Amanda Davis Drake. The bridesmaids were Kristy Autry Derrick of Monroe, Cara Bailey of Mooresville, and Nicole Kozma of Charlotte.
The groom’s father was the best man. The groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Alan Dunn of Yadkinville, Matthew Hamby of East Bend, and Justin Dunn of Yadkinville. The ushers were Charlie Bodenheimer and Jeff Drake.
The program attendants were Kristina Bodenheimer and Melissa Ottaway. Ceremony music was provided by Eric and Mandy Foster, vocalists, and Debbie Watwood, pianist.
Following the ceremony, a reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held on Friday, July 6, at The Duke Mansion in Charlotte.
After a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will live in Fort Mill, S.C.
