The NC State University Wolfpack Club’s annual spring and summer caravan will make a stop in Yadkinville on Monday, March 16.
NC State football coach Tom O’Brien and volleyball coach Charita Stubbs will be in attendance and address the crowd. NC State volleyball freshman Kelly Wood, a former Forbush High multi-sport standout, also plans to attend.
The event will be held at the Yadkin Moose Lodge at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $14 for adults and $7 for kids.
This year’s Wolfpack Caravan “Red, White and You” tour will visit 23 cities across the southern United States through the spring and summer. The Wolfpack Club is NC State’s fund-raising organization for athletic scholarships and facility enhancements.
“We are excited to visit Yadkinville during our 2009 Caravan,” said Bobby Purcell, Executive Director of the Wolfpack Club. “It is always great when our coaches and staff can get together and spend some quality time with our fans. It’s important for us to thank our Wolfpack Nation for all of their support and loyalty throughout the year. ”
