Deputies with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a larceny in progress at a residence on Reavis Road in Yadkinville on Nov. 5, according to a sheriff’s office release.

There they found Allyson Paige Burns, 31, of Yadkinville, loading up a vehicle with clothing and other property, according to the release.

Burns had been asked to move from the residence for an incident that occurred earlier in the day, and among her belongings she had a fur coat that belonged to the owner of the residence, the release said.

Burns was arrested and charged with one count of felony larceny and given a secured bond of $2,500, according to the release. Other charges are pending as of press time.
