Winter Heat: NOT Your Grandmother’s Quilt

Modern quilters have many more tools and resources than our grandmothers did. Fabric designs range from very traditional to bright and bold and can be integrated into almost any home decor. Most quilts are made completely by machine today, but with the same love and spirit that the quilters of yesterday had for the art.An opening reception will be held January 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

February 8, Friday: Gala - for theater seat holders. By invitation. 6:30 pm.

Buffet dinner and performance of Carolina Music Way’s Old Timey Radio Show- a high energy musical revue featuring the music of the north Piedmont featuring the Yadkin Valley Jammers.

February 9: Performance of the Old Timey Radio Show. 7:00 pm. $15.

Workshops:

Beginner’s Mosaics – Jody Pounds

Cost: $75 – all tools and supplies included

Learn the wonderful art of mosaics. This can be started at any time – I work with your schedule. You need to plan on 5 or 6 2-hour sessions, but it depends on the speed at which you work. When finished you will have a 12” x 12” mosaic you will be proud to call your own.

Schedule: Whenever

Age Limit: 18+ unless accompanied by an adult

No min/max.
