David and Gina Hayes of East Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Carrie Elizabeth Hayes to Eric Michael Bjorkquist, the son of Al and Susan Bjorkquist of Wilmington.
Carrie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed as an event coordinator at North Carolina State University’s McKimmon Center.
Eric graduated from North Carolina State University and is employed as the aquatic operations and training director at the Cary Family YMCA.
A March 30, 2013 wedding will take place at Winmock at Kinderton.
