A dozen people are behind bars following a year-long drug investigation in Yadkin County.

Yadkin County deputies arrested 11 people on more than 100 drug charges on Jan. 17 and made several other arrests over the holiday weekend.

Anthony Brent Adams was charged with two counts of selling and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, and he has a secured bond set at $20,000.

Shannon McCrae Bennett was charged with manufacturing a Schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a drug dwelling. He has a secured bond set at $20,000.

Charles Chris Beulin was charged with selling and delivering a Schedule III controlled substance, trafficking by possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, trafficking by transport of a Schedule III controlled substance and trafficking by sale and delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance.

Ruby Owens England was charged with conspiring to sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance and her bond was set at $5,000.

William “Tiny Man” Jowers, Jr. was charged with five counts of selling and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance and three counts of trafficking opium/heroin and his bond is set at $250,000.

Darrell Wayne Pinnix was charged with sell and delivering a Schedule VI controlled substance and he has a secured bond is set at $15,000.

Terry Lynn Smitherman was charged with three counts of selling and delivering a Schedule VI controlled substance and selling and delivering a Schedule IV controlled substance and he has a secured bond set at $100,000.

Hazel Mae Williams is charged with manufacturing a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a Schdule VI controlled substance and maintaining a drug dwelling and her secured bond is set at $20,000.

Patrick Shane Williams was charged with two counts of maintaining a drug dwelling and three counts of selling and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance. His bond was set at $150,000.

Regina Ann Williams was charged with trafficking in cocaine by possession, trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to traffick in cocaine. Her secured bond is set at $20,000.

Tameeka Nicole Williams is charged with four counts of trafficking opium/heroin, one count of using a minor to traffic in a controlled substance, five counts of selling and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of selling and delivering a Schedule III controlled substance and selling and delivering a Schedule VI controlled substance. She is being held under $200,000 secured bond.

The arrests on Jan. 17 were made as part of Operation Community Impact. The investigation included alleged cocaine and opiate trafficking.

Yadkin County deputies searched several vehicles and a motel room after receiving warrants. Hundreds of prescription pills, 220 grams of crack cocaine, three marijuana plants, six firearms, $515 in cash and two vehicles were among the items seized, Yadkin County deputies reported.

Those arrested range in age from 27 to 59. All but one are from Yadkin County, while the other is from Winston-Salem.
