Carl Douglas “Butch” Todd

Carl Douglas “Butch” Todd, of High Point, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Hospice Home at High Point, after a seven-and-a-half-month battle with cancer.

Butch was born in Yadkinville on Jan. 31, 1946, a son of Sherman James Todd, deceased, and Margaret Smith Todd of Yadkinville.

He is survived by his wife, Jean L. Freedle, owner of the Dog House, Inc; and her three daughters, Chris Amos, Jennifer White, and Courtney Freedle.

He is also survived by a daughter, Jone Todd of Raleigh; a sister, Linda Todd Pardue of Yadkinville; two brothers, Robert (Bobby) Todd of Yadkinville, and Tony Todd of Lake Wiley.

A memorial service will be held today, March 26, 4 p.m., at Davis Funerals & Cremations, 976 Phillips Ave. in High Point.

The family will receive friends at the residence following the service.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, or to the Cancer Center at High Point Regional.
