On Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Community Crime Prevention meeting at Buck Shoals Fire Department in Hamptonville.

This will be the first in a series of crime prevention meetings to be held at each fire department throughout the county. Residents in the Buck Shoals community are encouraged to attend this meeting to make them more aware of crime prevention efforts in Yadkin County.

Sheriff Ricky Oliver and crime prevention officers will be present to discuss some of the issues in the community and the crime prevention programs available.
