Ms. Lola Faye Snow, 69, of Hamptonville, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at her home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1940 in Forsyth County, to the late Joseph and Ruby Snow.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Darin Shore; brothers, J.C. Snow, and Kenneth Snow; and former husband, Miles Williams Ireland.
Surviving are her daughter, Sabrina Lynn (Darryl) Pardue; granddaughters, Anna Nicole Branon, and Chasity Hope Branon; sisters, Ola Maye (Charles) Shore, and Linda Gail (Franklin) Boger; brother, Joseph Hoyt Snow; special nephew, Aaron Snow; and several other special nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at Believers Baptist in Yadkinville by the Rev. Dean Chandler and James Driver.
She lay in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial followed at Flatrock Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends on Tuesday, April 7 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
