HMCCAH, the management company for Hoots Memorial Hospital announced the appointment of Ted Chapin as Chief Executive Officer of Hoots Memorial Hospital. Ted brings to the organization 29 years experience in hospital administration, most recently as President/CEO of Wilkes Regional Medical Center in North Wilkesboro.
Ted received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Appalachian State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy & Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He married to Sarah Chapin, a 5th grade teacher at North Wilkesboro Elementary School and has a son, Will and daughter, Heather. He and Sarah currently reside in Wilkesboro.
Apparently, Chapin has been working in the hospital for around 2 weeks prior to the receipt of this information.
