Students return to classroom on Tuesday, Aug. 25
Floors are shined, teachers have prepared their classrooms and students are anxious to see friends they’ve missed over the summer and maybe a little excited about returning to school. There have been sweeping changes in the Yadkin County School system during the summer, but administrators believe they will provide the education students need, though maybe not as many of the extra curricular things as in the past due to budget cuts from the state and little additional funding from the county.
