Formally from Yadkinville, he was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and his brother.
Mr. Hutchens had been a manager at Auto Zone in Norcross, Ga. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed attending drag racing and NASCAR events and had been an avid bowler. Mr. Hutchens is survived by his companion Linda Rawlins of Doraville, his son Keith Hutchens, grandson Ethan Hutchens, sister Sylvia Jean Hutchens( Elbert Allen) and cousin Mike Hutchens.
Arrangements were handled through Miller Funeral Home and a graveside
service was held May 28, 2010. Interment was in Hollywood City Cemetery in Tallapoosa, Ga., with military honors.
