Although they were able to rack up over 50 points during their last two games, Forbush was held short on Friday night in Wilkesboro. The Wilkes Central Eagles took control of the game, and never let up.

Despite only being able to find the end zone twice, the Falcons still came up with several fumble recoveries. Strong punts and special teams play forced the Eagles to start their drives deep from their own territory.

Devin Doss and Bruce Sims gave the Falcons their pair of touchdowns in the game. Sims had four carries for 25-yards for the ground game. Devin Doss had 65-yards passing during the game.

Forbush's offensive workhorse Tyler Morgan, left the game due to an injury. After Morgan left the game, the Falcons turned to Terrance McLean who had 18 carries for 64-yards.

Although the loss snaps the Falcon win-streak, Forbush will have an opportunity to work on their game during their bye week this week. Next week, the Falcons will return to the gridiron next week when they host East Wilkes. East currently has a 5-4 overall record and a 3-3 conference record.

With the loss, Forbush falls to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
