Cody Allen Spicer of Hamptonville and Hannah Lindi Marshall of Yadkinville exchanged vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony on July 29 at Fall Creek Baptist Church, Jonesville. Pastor Randy Johnson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Tammy Marshall of Yadkinville. She graduated from Forbush High School and Lees-McRae with a B.S. in early childhood education.
The groom’s parents are Doris Spicer of Hamptonville and the late Troy Spicer. He graduated from Starmount High School and Appalachian State University with a B.S. in education.
The bride was escorted by her father, Donald Marshall. She wore an Allure Couture fully beaded embroidered gown with scalloped lace detailing which featured a softly scooped neckline trailing to an open back with scalloped lace. The cathedral-length veil was embroidered with scalloped lace and accented with crystals. She carried a fresh bouquet of hydrangeas, cabbage roses, peonies, and trailing eucalyptus.
The maid of honor was Addy Marshall, the bride’s sister, and matron of honor was Anna Cromer. The bridesmaids were Kaitlin Bryant, Roseanna Laws and Codi Hauser, and junior bridesmaid was Madison Spicer, niece of the groom.
Parker Shore was the ring bearer. He carried the rings on the bride’s great-grandmother’s 100-year-old Bible. Elliott Shore was the flower girl. She carried a bird’s nest with rose petals.
Travis Spicer, brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Sloan Bryant, Austin Prevette, Caleb Poplin and Derek Chipman, and the junior groomsman was Aiden Dimmette, cousin of the groom.
The wedding planner was Tammy Macemore. The wedding director was Lisa Snow.
The program attendant was special friend and cousin, Kasi Macemore. The guest registrar was sister-in-law of the bride, Angie Spicer.
The vocalists for the wedding was the couple. The musicians were Darrell Bryant, Sloan Bryant and Steve Brown.
A reception was held in Coley Hall at The Liberty in Elkin.
Following a honeymoon to Charleston, South Carolina, the couple will reside in Hamptonville.
