Brandon Hills Vineyard will be showcasing its newest vintage at a special event scheduled for Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Rosé Soiree on Saturday will include free tastings of the new 2017 Rosé as well as food and live music from local musician Brian Williams.

Brandon Hills Vineyard is located at 1927 Brandon Hills Road in Yadkinville. New owners Larry and Elizabeth Muller purchased the winery from the Blackwell family last year. The new owners have made changes to the interior of the tasting room, including building an additional tasting bar, as well as a new patio space outdoors.

The four-acre vineyard also has been replanted with Vermentino, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

“We hope a lot of people are going to come out to taste our first rosé,” Larry Muller said.

Brandon Hills is open on Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
