Two face drug, breaking and entering charges

Two Yadkinville residents were arrested March 22 after being located by the King Police Department. Lori Hutchens Bryant, 41, and John Monroe Cartrette, 30, were transferred to the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office where they each face multiple charges including breaking and entering and drug-related charges.

Bryant was charged with six counts of felony conspiracy to break and enter, two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony larceny of a firearm, felony possession of a firearm by felon, two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substances, felony possession of schedule I heroin and felony possession of schedule II cocaine.

Bryant was given a $50,000 secure bond with first appearance in court scheduled on April 4.

Cartrette was charged with six counts of felony conspiracy to break and enter, three counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substances, felony possession of schedule I heroin and felony possession of schedule II cocaine.

Cartrette was given a $50,000 secure bond, also with a first appearance scheduled for April 4.
