THOMASVILLE — The NC Punishers had another great weekend in Thomasville at the Top Gun Tournament. Punishers started off the day winning their first two pool games.

The first game was against The Bandits from Greensboro, which the Punishers won 10-0. The second pool game was played against the NC Viper Hoppers from Stoneville, and the Punishers were able to take a 10-3 win.

With the two wins, the Punishers were awarded the second seed in the Gold Bracket.

The first game in the bracket, the Punishers faced off against the Carolina Xtreme from East Bend and won 9-5. The Punishers then went to the Championship game, where they played Carolina Elite and lost 11-1.

Despite the heat and struggling at the plate, the Punishers brought the second-place trophy back to Yadkin County.
