BOONVILLE — The 2017 football schedule has been released for Starmount High School. Last season the Rams held an overall record of 2-10 and a conference record of 2-5. The Rams earned wins over Elkin and Alleghany.

This season, the Rams are looking to earn more wins as they host several notable games. Starmount will host Elkin for the Battle of the Bridge on Sept. 22. Two weeks before that match-up, the Rams will travel to Forbush for the Unifi Bowl. Last season, Forbush was able to earn a win over the Rams for the first time in nine years.

Playoffs start on Nov. 10, and the State Championships will be held Dec. 8 and 9. Game times are set for 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Schedule is subject to change.
